How that point of view was
shaped. Here's the context.
In 2015, I co-founded Capyba, a software studio built on the belief that design could be more than pixels or an afterthought. Over six years, we grew from 4 partners to more than 30 people. That experience taught me to see design as something that can shape the business, not just the interface.
At Thoughtworks, I moved closer to the kind of challenge that goes beyond screens and features. I worked with multinational companies to grow their product design capabilities using the Digital Fluency Model.
Now, at Automattic, I work on WordPress, helping shape products at the scale of 43% of the web. My work spanned a range of challenges, from growth and experimentation to designing a dashboard that helps people manage sites across multiple hosts, tools, and environments. It's complex work, with lots of moving parts, and that's part of what keeps it interesting.
Different products, different systems, different constraints, but always the same goal: find the real problem, move with intention, and craft solutions that are clear, deliberate, and built to hold up in practice.

Honestly? I mentor because, early in my career, someone took the time to help me grow. That support made a real difference in how I developed as a designer, and now I try to offer the same kind of help to others.
Vinyl Records
Bossa nova, jazz, soul, and Brazilian music sound different on vinyl, not because of nostalgia, but because the medium itself invites attention. As a designer, I love how records bring sound, typography, print, and cover art into one complete object. And through a good stereo system, the music gains a depth, texture, and presence that streaming rarely matches.

Street Photography
Mostly film these days. I shoot wherever Automattic meetups take me, Como Lake, Singapore, Porto, Greece, Denver, and everywhere in between. What I love about street photography is the joy of paying attention and finding meaning in ordinary moments.
